Nanofibrillated Cellulose

Nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC), jointly patented by UPM-Kymmene Corporation and CELLINK AB, is a natural material consisting of fibrils with high aspect ratio: 5–20 nm wide and several microns long which makes it semi-translucent and allows for cell imaging and analysis. NFC demonstrates shear thinning behaviour as a hydrogel, which makes it a perfect fit as a bioink thickener to achieve excellent bioprinting properties. Now you get a chance to use CELLINK Nanofibrillated Cellulose to develop your own unique bioink!
