GelXA SKIN
GelXA SKIN is designed for fabricating skin and skin-related constructs. It incorporates fibrinogen to mimic the native wound-healing environment found in skin tissue. Fibrinogen converts to fibrin during wound healing, and promotes clotting and tissue repair through polymerization. GelXA SKIN comes with our thrombin-containing crosslinking solution to develop a compound network with unparalleled stability. After crosslinking, GelXA SKIN’s in situ fibrin and fibrinogen enables a physiologically relevant wound-healing environment. GelXA SKIN is optimized to print skin models for research and testing.
