Description
GelXA CARTILAGE builds on the versatile GelXA platform to support the creation and maintenance of cartilage tissue. Formulated to retain the cytocompatibility of gelatin, it enables bioprinting at ambient conditions while offering mechanical versatility through adjustable crosslinking. This tunability allows the stiffness of the cell microenvironment to be matched to the demands of harder tissues such as cartilage. With added cartilage‑specific components, including hyaluronan and laminin 521, GelXA CARTILAGE provides a biological microenvironment that closely reflects native cartilage tissue.
