Bioprinting of Nano- and Microliter droplets using the EMD Printhead
It is of high importance to know the dispensed droplet volume in various 3D bioprinting application. However, measuring the volume of a droplet created using drop-on-demand technology is tricky without the right experimental set-up and tools.
The aim of this technical note is to showcase of the Electromagnetic Droplet (EMD) Printhead can efficiently be used to solve this and more. The EMD Printhead is a drop-on-demand or contact-dispensing printhead that enables dispensing of low viscosity media, hydrogels and bioinks.
