Automated Spheroid Invasion Assay Using Collagen from Advanced BioMatrix

Using Advanced BioMatrix’s TeloCol-10, we performed an automated spheroid invasion assay to investigate the effect of different collagen stiffness on the invasion capacity of cancer cells from tumors to the vasculature system. This was done by dispensing the TeloCol-10 collagen on top of preformed spheroids of triple negative breast MDA-MB-231 cells as well as the lung cancer cell line, A549. This was done using the BIO X bioprinter.
