Enabling Groundbreaking bioprinting research

Creating Bioprinted Liver

Using human blood cells, Brazilian researchers have obtained hepatic organoids (“mini-livers”) that perform all of the liver’s typical functions, such as producing vital proteins, storing vitamins and secreting bile, among many others.

Printing Cartilage-like Tissue

A lab at Harvard’s Division of Engineering in Medicine used a dual-material approach on the INKREDIBLE to print mechanically robust 3D cartilage-like tissues. Their findings could lead to the bioengineering of cartilage tissues on demand.
