Photocuring Optimization of Cell-Laden PhotoCol® Hydrogels Using BIO ONE: Balancing Stiffness and Viability in 3D Culture
Photocrosslinkable bioinks offer tunable mechanical properties critical for creating stable and functional 3D cell-laden constructs. In this study, we demonstrate the effective use of the BIO ONE to dispense, thermally crosslink, and photocure droplets of PhotoCol®, a methacrylated type I collagen hydrogel, at concentrations of 3 and 6 mg/mL.
Our findings support the use of BIO ONE and PhotoCol® as a cytocompatible and tunable platform for generating stable, soft tissue-mimicking 3D constructs.
