Lumen X™ bioprinter, powered by Volumetric, offers highresolution, highthroughput and highfidelity bioprintingenhancing applications in microfluidics, cell-laden hydrogels, macroporous structures and more. When used to bioprint vasculature, Lumen X’s biocompatible blue light gives you a powerful advantage in achieving complex branching and tapering of vessels.

  • 405 nm projector uses over 1 million points of light to photographically cure entire layers in seconds. 
  • Crosslinks structures 50 times faster than other printing methods. 
  • A portfolio of biocompatible hydrogels is available. They are optimized for the Lumen X in order to reliably bioprint precise and reproducible constructs. A variety of stiffnesses, levels of optical clarity and strength have been developed to suit research needs.
