Increase use of 3D Printing in Medicine

Today a rapidly evolving group of technologies known as bioprinting is poised to further push the boundaries. Bioprinting uses 3D printers and methods to produce the three dimensional structures of biological material by precise layer by layer placement, from cells to biochemicals. The end aims to reproduce functional material and tissue, such as organs, which can then be transplanted into humans.
