The Solaris Benchtop Lineup

IO

Completely electrical mini fermenter/bioreactor with a fast and accurate thermoregulation system (without water circulation.) With total volumes of 200ml or 1000ml, it represents an innovative device for process development and media optimization.

JUPITER

Multiple autoclavable vessel sizes and designs from 2.0 L up to 10.0 L total volume. The system is highly configurable, offering a wide range of measurement and control options. Pressure control up to 1.6 bar is also available in the 2 and 4 L volumes.

ELARA ST

Stirred jacketed photobioreactor ideal for phototrophic organisms such as Moss, Microalgae, Bacteria and plant cells. The fully removable light module allows to use Elara as a traditional fermenter/bioreactor.

ELARA FLAT

Innovative solution for microalgae cultures. Its flat design with the minimum thickness allows a homogeneous light distribution even at high viscosity, and its asymmetrical shape prevents foam formation.

GENESIS

Compact benchtop SIP fermenter/bioreactor, available from 7.5 up to 20 L total volume.
Automatic sterilization with steam or electrical heaters.

Kronos

Benchtop automatic Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) system, designed following the most updated criteria of cGMP. Can handle up to 0.5 m2 total filtration area and is equipped with multiple modules which make it ideal for innovative process development as well as for automatic process sequences.

Broad range of applications

Autoclavable or SIP (sterilizable-in-place), Solaris’ scalable benchtop fermenters and bioreactors cover a broad range of applications — from microbial fermentation to cell culture — and can be used for batch, fed-batch, and continuous processes.

Designed to meet your needs

Solaris bioreactor systems are available in a full range of volumes from 200 ml up to 20 L and can work in parallel up to 24 units. Processes are managed by a unique HMI platform with innovative Leonardo software.

The jacketed units have a fully removable and cleanable jacket to improve heat transfer during sterilization.
